‘Jimmy Savile wasn’t the only one at the BBC’, says investigative journalist and former child actor Ben Fellows

Jimmy Savile may be the villain of the moment concerning revelations about child sexual abuse at the BBC, but the truth is there are pedophiles everywhere in the entertainment industry. Many of them are in positions of power and influence within their respective organisations, including adult stars, directors, producers and executives.
The following accounts are just some of my own personal experiences – and brushes with pedophilia out in the entertainment and big media spheres, as a child star who attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London…

At the age of ten years old I was asked by my drama teacher to go and audition at the Royal Shakespeare Company. They were looking for a mixed race boy to play alongside Hugh Quarshi who was playing Banquo, in Adrian Nobles’ production of MacBeth starring Jonathan Price and Sinead Cusack. Having gone to the audition, taken by my parents, I was lucky enough to get the part of Fleance. However, after the high of getting offered a part in the production, my chaperones – who looked after me like secret service agents (I’m not kidding) – told me that there were certain actors that I was not allowed to be alone with. As a child at the RSC, I was just having a blast and didn’t realise that sexual predators were a part of my production, however, there were certain actors who were famous and who I was warned about.
I was told in no uncertain terms never to go into certain actor’s dressing rooms. On one occasion I actually did go into an actor’s dressing room who closed the door behind me. I was offered alcohol… and before I knew it, the dressing room door burst open and my chaperone invited me to go back to my own dressing room. Of course nothing happened to me whilst at the RSC. My point is that the RSC were quite aware of pedophiles in their midst. It was an open secret that children were vulnerable, even this highly rated, professional environment.

However, once I’d entered the entertainment industry proper, I was not so lucky and ran a gauntlet of pedophiles – both at the BBC and at other television production companies, and also in theatres, as well as on commercial photo shoots. In fact, almost every production I was involved with, I was targeted in some way or another. Looking back, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the problem is both institutional and systemic in the entertainment industry.
The casting couch may seem like a funny, perhaps even mythical old Hollywood style, approach to casting. As pre-teen and as a young teenager, I attended many auditions as a child where I was asked to take my top off and pose for photographs, and I was propositioned by male and female casting directors all the time.

After one audition for a Coca-Cola commercial, the Police came to my parent’s home. They advised my mother that I had inadvertently become a potential target of a known pedophile ring. It turned out that the ‘well-known’ casting director had taken pictures of me topless, and those pictures then appeared in what was described as a catalogue and was passed to other pedophiles within the company – and to external pedophiles. These were professionals within ‘the industry’, operating under the cover of an entire production company working with blue chip clients.
On another, more frightening occasion, I was chased around the dressing room by a naked actor who had invited me into their dressing room at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane – and this actor was extremely famous. I was advised by the director of the musical that I was not to complain, or tell anyone of this incident. I was thirteen years old… so I didn’t.
It was not uncommon, and on multiple occasions, that I was propositioned and called into “fake” castings. One fake casting of note was with one of the world’s most successful theatre producers(West End, Broadway), where I was systematically harassed over a twelve month period – whilst having a leading role in the musical dangled like the proverbial carrot in front of my face.
The BBC experience
At the BBC I did many series and episodes of television programmes. A a young actor on East Enders, I was propositioned by another adult actor, but by this time I had become quite a plucky kid so I didn’t tolerate it. But it wasn’t the last time, and I was hounded by that actor for the duration of my tenure on the show.
When I was on tour with a well-known musical, most of the actors stayed in the same hotel. One night I was taken out by a male adult actor. I was brought alcohol and that actor took me back to my room and attempted to rape me. If it wasn’t for my friend – drunkenly bursting into my room, I believe that I might well have been raped. Mind you, I was only fourteen years old.
When I was fifteen years old, I was introduced to politicians via working from 1990-1994 on the investigative TV show, “The Cook Report”, which became a nightmare. To explain, The Cook Report was an investigative journalism programme run out of Central Television in Birmingham. When I joined the team, I was a confident child actor. I had a powerful agent and I was working on a regular basis across the entertainment industry. The Cook Report needed a child,specifically one who was mixed race to place in front of prominent politicians to lure them into a sting operation – a dangerous honey trap if there ever was one.
Firstly, it was illegal for The Cook Report to exploit me in this way. I was a child for God’s sake! Yet, if I was eighteen but looked fifteen and I fully understood what I was getting into – then fair enough. But I was only fifteen at the time, so not being able to say no to a job – I joined the team and began my role in the sting.
During the show’s ‘Cash for Questions’ investigation, the first politician who I met was then DTI Chairman, Sir Michael Grylls, who invited me to tea in the House of Commons “tea room” and spent the meeting attempting make untoward body contact with me under the table. After that, I was sent to a political lobbyist named Ian Greer who tried to rub his genitalia against me while he hugged me. On one separate occasion, I was summoned Ian Greer’s offices **********(Name redacted) ******. Greer gave me a two glasses of whiskey and was acting a little, lets say, “over-familiar”. *******(Name redacted) *** Ian Greer were well aware of my age – because I told them I was 15. Now, I’m not suggesting that either Sir Michael Grylls, Ian Greer *********(Name redacted) are pedophiles, however, it’s not over-the-top to describe what transpired as very questionable behaviour towards a minor – by anyone’s standards – let alone the standards expected from our public officials and government inner circle members.
So, if Prime Minister David Cameron is calling for an inquiry into the BBC over the recent pedophile revelations of Jimmy Savile, then his government should also be including members of parliament, as well as the entire entertainment industry.
Of course, The Cook Report producers are just as culpable for putting me in that position in the first place. Certainly, it wouldn’t be the last time that show put my life in danger. As an undercover journalist on several stories, I was constantly put in danger.

It wasn’t just the celebrities who were at it. A BBC producer, after filming one day on a television programme, took me to a party and introduced me to other BBC staff. I also met a male Guardian journalist who tried to come on to me. I am straight, and as I was a child and even though I probably thought I was cool, I was most certainly naive to the ways of adult behaviour in the industry! The producers took me back to their house in Ealing, a suburb of London, frequented by BBC staff. I was drunk, and a female BBC staff member tried to sleep with me. On another occasion I was given cocaine by famous personalities and crew with the full knowledge of the executive producers, producer and directors. They even had the coke delivered via a BBC courier to the party we were having in a BBC rehearsal room in Acton.
I could go on with many stories of being exploited sexually in the entertainment industry. My point is that it’s not just the BBC where pedophiles are operating. It’s the entire entertainment industry.
When I was between the ages of ten and the age of consent, on every television programme and theatre job I did, I was either sexually harassed, coerced into drinking too much, felt up in some way, or simply followed home by a crazy male fans. I’ve had actors expose themselves to me and I mean really famous actors, including world-famous movie stars – many who are touted by the sycophantic celebrity-worshiping media as role models. So you can see how recent revelations of Jimmy Saville are of little surprise for me.
Sickness That Infects the Whole of Show Business
The entertainment industry can be a rough ride for a child, and an industry that seems to have little or no internal governance regarding the regulation of sexual predators within its borders. I’ve been attacked on a few occasions and saved by sheer luck, ended up at serious sex parties with male and female prostitutes, bucket loads of drugs, alcohol – and all with some of the world’s most famous industry professionals. I don’t know about now, but when I was growing up in the industry it was rampant and everywhere – and everyone knew about it. It is the industry’s big, dirty secret.
For children in the entertainment industry what I’ve described is real, and it’s appropriate to note here that there were even child actors I personally knew – who committed suicide because of their abusive experiences. One can only guess at the number of survivors who later fell into self-abuse, narcotics and depression as a result of this institutional disease.
Male or female, it didn’t matter. I was a child and I was under the age of consent.
We can’t just look at the BBC without looking everywhere else – including the music industry. I was exposed to many famous men who tried to abuse their positions of power as industry ‘King Makers’.
Little or No Reform
As for the disgusting excuse for a public servant – Harriet Harman MP, who in the past has advocated for less stricter legislation on pedophile photographs, films and videos and wants the age of consent lowered to 14 years old – I say, only a pedophile would want to call for less legislation and therefore make being a pedophile much, much easier and more legal.
Now, more than ever, children need to be protected in society, and that includes the entertainment industry. If pedophiles were rampant in my day as a child actor, one could assume that it’s rather unlikely that this situation would have improved over time all by itself.

After reading this, on can only believe that insiders like Esther Rantzen (childline) are either very nieve, or child abusers. You can spend your entire life in the entertainment industry and not know what was going on?
Now we know why the MSM are so inbed with the politicians. And the police are just as involved. I’ve read about Savile going to an Eastend flat where young boys were provided. This flat was on the Cray’s patch and the police knew what was going on, but did nothing.
Many years ago, before the NWO got it’s web house cleaning operation upto speed. I came accross a page which stated that Tony Blair had been cautioned by the police and it was implied that this involved young boys!!
If you go across the pond…Washington is rife with child sex parties….this is how the elite gathers smut on its elite fan base, so no one ever steps out of line and if you did question the NWO script and they don’t have any smut on you, they would suicide or accident you.

Unfortunately this mechanism is one of the major tools for control of NWO minions, many of whom feel trapped by the destructive stigma of pedophilia which is wielded ruthlessly once they have participated in this behaviour.
As this story unfolds, it is important to offer some kind of amnesty for those willing break ranks, who should be offered psychological counselling.
Once someone is viewed as a potential tool for NWO agendas, they are lured in to pedophile activities before being warned of the consequences of disobedience in no uncertain terms. Their whole life than becomes controlled by guilt and fear and they are safe to elevate up the ranks of power.
This ‘elite pedophiles’ meme is one which could unravel the entire NWO plot, so we have to overcome the artificially hyped up socio-emotional attitudes and remember most abusers have been abused themselves, and that this is a repetitive social disorder that needs to treat everyone as victims. This is important for the true resolution of a damaging psycho-social disorder that has been co-opted and exacerbated by NWO agendas.

Why don’t they ever name names?! I remember Corey Feldman went about a while back claiming there were all kinds of pedos in Hollywood and that he’d name names. He never did. Name names, man! What do you expect to be done if you remain so vague and only speak about personal anecdotes without the specifics of who. It’s like saying to the police, I witnessed a murder and I saw who did it, but I’m not going to tell you who it was, but I still want you to catch the murderer. Name names, name names, name names.

It’s easy to demand the victims name names when you aren’t in that position to tell. Some of the assailants in question are men worth millions and a victim will need to have a high-powered law firm in place when they go public with names, otherwise the accused will surely bury the victim in court and – and also attack them in the press. It’s not an easy task to begin with…

There is no difference between a person who refuses to name names and expose these pedophiles by being paid lots of money and a person who refuses to name names for fear of losing lots of money. Either way, the blame remains the same. I am glad I am not a mother of a young boy, had you kept quiet about child abusers while mine was being abused by someone I would be in jail right now for some terrible violence against you. There is NO difference in my eyes, than those creeps who kept quiet about Sandusky et al (oh was afraid of getting ‘sued” “who’d believe me”) these are all sick excuses. I myself would rather risk jail and or a fortune if it meant saving some child. The excuse to not name names is sickening to me, I am sorry.

That’s not so easy if you are the person involved, in the case of Ben Fellows, that’s his prerogative – and as he has written above – he’s wasn’t raped and has moved on in life. Pointing fingers or ‘naming names’ is not as straight forward as might look from the sidelines of this or any similar story. In some cases, it’s not only money you will lose. Again, that’s up to the individual, it’s their personal decision. One thing is certain however, even by not ‘naming names’, even giving accounts of these incidents can help others to come forward – already, many accounts are coming out by the day. This could be viewed as progress…

Thank you so much for your informative post. I am sorry you had to undergo such experiences and can well understand why you do not name names.
As someone who has been only very marginally in theatres, I have heard a lot of rumours and have wondered why our ‘impartial’ BBC has shown no interest in exploring these while being obsessed with paedophilia in the Catholic Church. I only hope this will now come to light and that young people will be safer in future.

About 4 years ago I complained to the BBC – the only time I’ve ever done so- about an incident on a daytime programme with a middle-aged presenter who seems to become especially tactile when there’s young female contestants on the programme though that’s not what my complaint was about.
The presenter informed the viewing audience that this particular part of the programme was recorded in X ‘girl’s school’ and he added a comment something like ‘ but it’s half-term and there’s none of them about – unfortunately’ followed by what I would call a dirty old man type snigger. Those involved laughed at this ‘humerous’ comment but I found it quite disgusting. I complained to the BBC and got a snotty letter back from the producer to the effect ‘how dare you complain about…he’s got a daughter at university’ (as if that had any relevance and treating me like a pleb to boot to use a term in current vogue).
The comment I actually complained about wasn’t even referred to. Dissatisfied I complained to the NSPCC who said if the BBC weren’t bothered they weren’t. Incredible. This just showed me how public figures are protected by the BBC Establishment . If Savile had been the person in that clip it would be getting shown on every news now. The programme is still running with the same presenter. I hope I never have to say ‘I told you so’ in 20 yrs time

I notice above the use of words like ‘heinous’ and ‘sickening.’ While in no way condoning harmful and trauma inducing behaviours that can and do destroy lives, I wish to point out again that this emotive issue has been – dare I say it – ‘sexed up’ and not dealt with like, say, alcoholism, which shares a huge overlap and relationship in causes with pedophilia.
People could get just as angry about the just as awful family consequences of alcoholism, but most take an enlightened attitude that alcoholism is – albeit a somewhat strange one – some form of disease with roots in social dysfunctions we have not yet addressed.
Perhaps an insidious and widespread, systemically entrenched secret pedophile movement might begin to explain the widespread social dysfunctionality and emotional illness we see around and within us… What we are talking about is more like an interwoven celtic design than a ‘ring.’
It’s becoming clear that the protection and tolerance of pedophiles by the Catholic Church, Governments, The Police, Judges and others is actually shuffling of evidence of a much deeper and well organized intentional use of child sex as a tool of social control and manipulation.
Thus the hysterical attitudes so easily whipped up around child safety and sex are deliberate and much easier to elicit than getting reluctant citizens to go to war etc. which our mainstream media manage very well.
If we are going to encourage victims and those who are compromised and blackmailed (i.e. err…victims) to come forward and unravel this unholy mess, we are all going to have to take a few deep breathes and be prepared to find out exactly how deeply this runs through every strata of society without blowing a head gasket every time we discover what we already know is there.
Lynch mob mentality and literally allowing convicted abusers to have their testicles ripped off by angry fellow inmates is not the way a civilized society, which is what we aim to become and must begin to embody, solves it’s issues and challenges. My research indicates that more than half of people in our society have been sexually abused to a degree that has significantly altered their life negatively.
Now is a time that we, as a society, must face many difficult and challenging truths with honesty and dignity if we are to rise out of this quagmire of dissonance and have a future worth being in. I hope you are all ready for this issue, because it goes to the heart of the sickness in our society and will be very, very cleansing, if painful, to expose.
I encourage each and every one of you to suspend gut reactions for a moment and ponder the implications of what is coming to light and it’s relationship to the levels of ‘dis-ease’ and ‘dis-comfort’ you witness and experience in your society.

All very well and high minded and correct, but the real question here is ‘how would you react if your nearest and dearest was raped and abused by a paedophile?’ Actions speak louder than words! Unless you have personally been through this yourself then you do not know how you will react, and I don’t judge others that do overtly get angry and act on it. Many say one thing and do another when put on the spot…

During the early 70s I was a roadie with many leading rock and pop bands and sadly many well known personalities messed around sexually with young girls because the girls in question ‘Groupies’ would dress to look 18 whilst in fact many of them were only 13 or 14. It was a mission for many young groupies to fuck as many rock or pop stars as possible. I dont believe that Jimi Saville was any different from the many young men at that time who were successful and preyed upon by young females. I also worked at Top of The Pops and most of the audience were children of BBC employees, many again were 14 or 15 made to look 18 by BBC make up…Who’s To Blame!!!

Most of those guys in the bands – quite a few of whom I sold guitars to – in the 70s were, mainly, in their 20s. Still old enough to know better, mind. However, Savile was in his mid-40s by then. Which makes him a middle-aged man who DID know better. He was also, allegedly, fiddling with 9-year-old boy scouts, after his show. And you don’t believe he was any different? Christ…

You know what I would do? I would hire a couple expert body guards to stand by me at all times for protection if I came out with a story and named names. I think many are afraid to tell the whole truth by naming people because they fear for their lives, or more importantly the lives of their loved ones. They that experienced these horrific, sick experiences, and know some of the truth or the whole truth know that they could be put out easily. And we all know that as well ;). I have a very scary story I wish I could tell on coast to coast am or something of the sort online for millions to know but am seriously fearful of the consequences. Who knows who’d be listening on the line?

I think it’s about time everyone seriously considers non compliance and switch the tel-lie-vision off and stop paying the licence fee. No money=no job/drugs/sex acts on vulnerable kids. I had a run in with the BBC, several years ago. They came after me on the evidence of a serial stalker and psychopath who was destroying my life. Her partner was a police officer, and despite hundreds of complaints to the police, they wouldn’t act. I survived attempted murder, which she boasted of publicly, and daily threats, intimidation, and accusations, which were also aimed at family, friends, and anyone who supported me. It was a terrifying time.
The BBC lied, cheated, intimidated and abused me, and anyone connected with me. When the evidence that I was innocent, and they had been duped, became overwhelming, they refused to admit they were wrong, and continued. The more they realised they were wrong, the more angry and arrogant they became.
They acted outrageously. It became clear that they were out of control, self serving, arrogant and had their own agenda, which didn’t involve the truth, honesty or integrity.
Not even the lowest of the gutter press would have acted as they did, a former fleet street editor confirmed that after 30 years in Fleet street, he was shocked at how the BBC disregarded the truth.
Eventually, after four years, anti corruption police became involved, officers were sacked, and everything stopped. My serial stalker and psychopath, who is wealthy, hunts and shoots, is far right and friendly with a number of MP’s, was warned off, despite boasting of attempted murder and hiring contract killers. She still says I am a ‘deadman’.
The BBC knew they were wrong. But just as my stalker enjoyed destroying lives (her previous victim attempted suicide after four months), they enjoyed their power, and enjoyed having fun at the expense of other people.
The BBC is corrupt through and through. It is a disgusting organisation. At last people are starting to see it.

It’s blatantly obvious that normalizing pedophilia is their goal. Look at how children are endlessly sexualized in movies, on TV and in basically every aspect of media. I am a parent and I see little children wearing booty shorts, heavy makeup and dressing like streetwalkers, and I wonder where their parents are! I was watching a TV show from the 80’s the other day and could not BELIEVE how much has changed since then. The adult women were dressed conservatively and the kids looked like kids, it was such a glaring contrast to today where everyone seems to be on display. I am not blaming the kids, because they should be able to dress however they wish without being sexualized but in reality people are sick and I wonder what their parents are thinking! Parents, TURN OFF THE TV and do not allow your kids to consume this media filth. Why would anyone want this for their kids? Why would anyone allow it? Do people think this is normal? Coming from the same industry, I would not be surprised if his parents did not know about much of the goings on. It is certainly something that most young women would have to deal with often in the creative work place. but there was always a culture to say nothing and if you did suggest something was wrong, it would not be taken seriously! I myself was grabbed on the arse by a well known director at the BBC, with suggestive comments made if I wished to progress, whilst having to whiteness people booked on programmes who had no talent what so ever but were there due to who they where being bedded by. I was also offered drugs by well known directors in the 80’s, this was a common thing. Believe me, the casting couch was and I am sure still is very prominent in the entertainment industry, and I am sure I could have had many more opportunities come my way had I have been prepared to play ball. The Modelling industry is no different either, probably worse!!!
This is nothing new, and I am sure that it happens in most walks of life, but because of the irregularity of the entertainment industry, and the desire of most young people to succeed and or become famous, they/we are/were definitely more venerable.
The stories about Jimmy Savile were widely known by most people on floor level, so one can only assume by the top levels too. Maybe now it is out, this can be a catalyst to put things right or at least rules in action to stop much of this seedy side of what can be a wonderful and exiting industry to be in.

This man was put into care at the age of two. He was sent from Pontius to Pilatus.
At some point in his teens, he changed homes again and was put on “kitchen duty” under the auspices of a bloke named Neville Husband, who raped many, many boys at that home. He not only violated these kids ruining them forever, but had his “friends” (police? government officers?) sodomize them as well. It´s all on film. No doubt Husband, a man with a wife and child, sold these movies for profit.
When Young was released from that home, he went straight to the police and was admonished for speaking badly about the home worker. He may have even been fined, I don´t recall. Please google this article. It should change the way you view the current paradigm. Indeed, you should then realize just what exactly the paradigm is and entails. (If that doesn´t do the trick, go to the website: itccs.org = international tribunal into crimes of church and state, where you will read hair raising truths about the world we live in and especially about those who temporarily rule it).
The point is this: not only did Husband get off scot-free for most of his life, those who supervised him were PROMOTED. The victims were ostrasized for as long as possible, until there were too many to sweep under the rug as it were.
In the end, several of the victims who came forward as witnesses to the prosecution of that devil were given money. But no apology was or is forthcoming. As Jack Straw said, “an apology wasn´t part of the deal”.

The redacted name is that of leading Conservative politician Sir Kenneth Clarke.
As Minister of Justice, Clarke was in control of the Court of Protection (CoP) and the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).
I have firm evidence to show that in my elderly mother’s case, the OPG collaborated with the corrupt ex-Inspector Colin Moreton of North Yorkshire Police (as mentioned in the e-mail, below) in his attempts to defraud my mother of her assets.
The OPG has refused to give me sight of documents I have applied for under the Data Protection Act, which would show the contacts between Moreton and the OPG. They have done so despite a ruling from the Public & Health Service Ombudsman to give me sight.
I openly and publicly accused Martin John, then the CEO of the OPG, of corruption. He never denied this, started getting very nervous and when I requested the Ministry of Justice to investigate, he was moved on and no investigation took place.
Since becoming involved with the OPG and CoP, I have come across other victims with more horrific stories of the goings-on there.
I am told that on the say-so of one social worker in a secret court hearing to which the parents do not have to be invited, children can be taken into “care”. Contact with the family is often no longer allowed.
I am left with the suspicion that this set-up may be a source of children for high-level paedophiles.
I am also wondering what contact Jimmy Saville may have had with the CoP / MoJ and Kenneth Clarke.

And ye, I agree we’ve had a global meme controlling the world for a while, through religion (before the 20th century) and since early 20th century, drug policy. These are the means of a memetic complexity (a multiple amount of meme’s created to fuse together towards the same goal) control. Waking people up to critical analysis is the only way to counter it.

Ben, if the Times have all those names and your story, and are sat on it, your safest course of action is to type it up, send it to every major newspaper, globally as well (this is very big), put it online in a fair few places (anonymous is always useful), file a report to the police and name all the names.

Its time to name and shame.. the organisations investigating Savile will no doubt be interested to hear any other information regarding peadophiles in the entertainment industry…Even if you weren’t assaulted, the fact that they made passes at you and were inappropriate needs reporting. You don’t know how many of your fellow child actors have been through similar, or even were assaulted.. I remember it hitting the news that Daniella Westbrook was going to parties and snorting coke in her mid teens while on Eastenders.. who’s to say what happened to her!! I realise that there may be some now adults in the industry who went through the “casting couch” as it were.. But this has to stop!!! NOW!! Regardless of the background of the perpetrators.. This activity is illegal, and needs dealing with… Heads need to roll!!! If you can go to the proper authorities now Ben, I suggest that you would be heard..as you don’t know if any of your fellow child actors have already come forward and investigations against these sick people might already be commencing.. your information could be vital in charging and convicting known paedophiles and proving that they are guilty as charged!!!

According to this brown fellow’s ‘testimony’ today’s ‘theatre’ was/is awash with ‘Bacchanalian jousting’ that puts Shakespeare’s ‘Much ado About Nothing’ shenanigans to shame. Appearing, innocent as he contrives himself out to be (we only have his word) – on the contrary one is persuaded he, actually, maintained, even so young, a certain built-in surviving wariness to all those ‘come-ons’ and gropings he so entertainingly describes as he is youthfully fated through theatre’s opportunities all those years ago being, clearly, a worthy child actor. Surviving his adolescent stage-struck flight from famous nude predators and the wandering hands of the less notable his experiences have to be delicious meat now as recompense in his own writings of glorious theatrical farces that could trump Rix’s or Bennet’s. Ben and others should give names to the police-as long as police or other legal protection can be given. The whole thing is a disgrace-the way this behaviour was allowed to continue knowingly-it makes me ashamed of Gr. Britain.
