Washington’s agenda revealed: NTC rebels asking NATO to ‘stay in Libya’

October 28, 2011

It seems that Libya’s US-backed Rebels don’t quite possess the stomach for regime change that their bosses in Washington DC and London have.

The west’s new vichy-style government in Libya, aka the ‘National Transitional Council’ (NTC) have now asked NATO to stay until 2012, this allegedly in order ‘to stop Gaddafi loyalists fleeing’.

It’s more likely, however, that the rebels are fearing reprisals from the thousands of innocent Libyans who have been maimed, raped and whose family members have been killed in the name of NATO’s liberation of Libya. The list of atrocities done in their name seems to be endless, with new reports of Rebel mass graves and executions coming out daily.

Of course, nothing defines NTC’s barbaric nature better than the brutal execution of Moammar Gaddafi, beaten and shot to death, along with members of his family in Sirte.

Yes, these are the violent animals that US President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and British PM David Cameron have backed and fought alongside of in the war for Libya’s riches.

Call it mission creep, or call it 21st century imperialism, but it’s very easy to gather from this latest move that the NTC were never stable enough to facilitate numerous US and European multinational companies who are currently being lined up for hundreds of new ‘reconstruction projects’ and contracts in the country.

NATO and US have long-range plans for Libya

Far from being in control of the country and able to govern, it appears that NATO’s NTC rag-tag band of international al-Qaida mercenaries and tribal paramilitary gangs do not have anything near a mandate by the people to rule Libya, as western TV audiences have been led to believe for the last 9 months.

The London Guardian reported this week on this latest bombshell, announced at a meeting with the US brokered military alliance in Qatar on Wednesday, where  NTC interim leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil announced:

“We look forward to Nato continuing its operations until the end of the year,” said Jalil, adding that stopping the flight of Gaddafi supporters to other countries was a priority. “We seek technical and logistics help from neighbouring and friendly countries,”

Among other illegalities which contravene the UN’s flimsy Resolution 1973, which only allowed for a no-fly zone over Libya, Qatar stood in for the US as far back as March 2011, when it recognised the NTC as the legitimate authority in Libya. Writing its own rules, Qatar then went ahead to supply NATO-Rebel fighters with military provisions, heavy weaponry and more than $400m (£250m) in cash towards regime change.

Worse yet, it was revealed today that the Qatari government has provided boots on the ground in support of the US and NATO’s plan for regime change in Libya. According to Ahram Online:

For the first time, Qatar reveals that it had soldiers on the ground across Libya assisting in the fight against Gaddafi’s regime, with the country to play a major role in integrating the rebels into the Libyan military…

“We were among them and the numbers of Qataris on the ground were hundreds in every region,” said Qatari chief of staff Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Atiya.

Under international law, this move by long-time US puppet Qatar is a flagrant violation of UN 1973, and other international laws, a crime of opportunity which should place Qatar firmly in international court.

The US agenda in Libya was always to exact regime change- but without getting its hands dirty by being caught in public with troops on the ground. In this twisted operation, it assigned the job of fall guy to its chief partner in the Middle East, Qatar.

But now it appears that the US and Britain are both reported to have had special forces troops on the ground in Libya in the run-up to Gaddafi’s assassination last week.

Israeli intelligence news service DEBKA quoted US sources who admit that American drones kept Gaddafi’s home in Sirte under surveillance, while it was surrounded by US and British forces.

American sources are willing to admit that US drones operated by pilots from Las Vegas pinpointed the fugitive ruler’s hideout in Sirte and kept the building under surveillance for two weeks, surrounded by US and British forces.

Both therefore had boots on the ground in breach of the UN mandate which limited NATO military intervention in Libya to air strikes.

In addition, US emirate puppet Qatar put its hands in the cookie jar very early on, providing the marketing and facilitating the selling of rebel-controlled Libyan oil exports beginning in March – oil which, under Gaddafi, was used to pay government salaries and state benefits on which most families depend. That system is now in chaos, as NTC Rebels and assorted western companies scramble to carve up the country’s state-owned assets and natural resources.

The UK was then next to join in the party, when on Oct 4th, independent oil and gas explorer Heritage Oil became the first foreign firm to pump Libyan oil thanks to its acquisition of a Benghazi-based oil company.

Qatar has stated yesterday that it will remain in Libya as the US proxy. Military commander Atiya said yesterday, that following the eventual departure of NATO troops in 2012, a new “international coalition”, led by Qatar would oversee “military training, collecting weapons, and integrating the rebels in newly established military institutions.” What is not mentioned here, is that any Qatari military operation will be accompanied by its numerous US advisers, as well as US military equipment, and CIA intelligence support.

And so it begins. “The liberation of Libya”, to be divided up by a series of multinational companies, along with a permanent attachment of US and European military specialists.

In a few months time, internal struggles will be rife and naturally, NATO will still be there- along with UN blue helmets. Whatever is left of the original NTC and their CIA contracted al-Qaida freedom fighters, will likely have ripped each other to pieces fighting over the scraps of wealth that are left by the US, Europe and Qatar.

Surprised?

This writer is not, as it was easily predicted on Oct 4th that NATO would be staying in Libya, and that there would be boots on the ground in 2012:

By that time, all the horrors and atrocities which have been carried out by NATO and its Rebels will have been flushed out, and with any luck, people in the west might realize who brought real brutality and tragedy to the country of Libya.

Let the rebuilding commence.

Gaddafi has exited the stage, and now Syria looks to be the next target for the regime change gang in Washington DC.

Viewers need to pay attention to the popular talking points coming out through the mainstream globalist media via Washington designed to sway public opinion against the ruling government in Damascus. Watch the following interview segments hosted by Aaron Dykes, with Patrick Henningsen reporting for Infowars.com on events going on across the Middle East and North Africa:

Now US Puppet Regime in Iraq is Calling for a ‘Regime Change’ in Syria

September 22, 2011

It’s one thing when imperial bureaucrats in Washington call for ‘regime change’, but it’s quite another thing when the rallying cry is coming from US-installed puppet regime.

In this case, we’re talking about the now fully domesticated US-puppet government of Nuri Kamal al-Maliki in Iraq, who is now calling for a regime change in its neighboring embattled country Syria. You would think that of all people, the Iraqis would not want to wish a US-sponsored sectarian free-for-all on their worst enemy, or neighbor. But think again.

In terms of Washington’s ambitions for a full spectrum domination of the Middle East grand chessboard, Syria occupies the prime location, sharing borders with Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and of course, the most important fence in the yard- Israel. But out of all these surrounding territories, the border it shares with the US-occupied Iraq is the only border that offers Washington direct access to Syria.

Nuri Kamal al-Maliki

It's not easy appearing to be independent when you are occupied by the US (PHOTO: Johan Spanner/Polaris, for The New York Times)

As for maintaining the illusion of international diplomacy and utilizing the UN, Washington will certainly need to exploit any political cover it can gain from its compliant, well-trained and well paid puppets in Baghdad.

Syria is being set up to fail, and there are many reasons for this. Syria constitutes one of the last(if not the last) independent secular states in the entire Arab world. Politically, it’s dominated by the Baath party and the Baath organizational structure, and it remains fiercely independent, anti-Imperialist and populist. But most of all, it is on Washington’s chopping block because it is closely allied with Iran, and it naturally supports the 70 year struggle of the Palestinian people against Israeli occupation.

So it is not surprising at all that presently, Syria is preparing to resist the impending globalist takeover of their country at the hands of the US-NATO and Israeli coalition.

For years, Syria has made serious efforts to cooperate with Washington regarding the Iraqi border, particularly in terms of halting the operations of terrorists, their arms and finance, and on intelligence sharing. But recently Syria has run into a diplomatic stone wall with Washington and London, and it is now an open secret that Washington and the global elite establishment would like to see Syria fall, as the next domino to make way for their complete restructuring of the Middle Eastern region.

Only last month, the elite globalist think tank, The Council on Foreign Relation (CFR) announced its desire  for “regime change in Syria”, a call which will in turn, be loyally heeded by Washington’s imperial bureaucratic elite, presently led by Secretary of State  Hillary Clinton. A clearer indication you will not get as to plans that have already been drawn up to both bring down, and later restructure that country.

The formula which has worked so well already in Libya, will most likely also be deployed against Syria, whereby the US-NATO alliance and its agencies will trigger internal social chaos, and any reaction by the Syrian government against this will be used to discredit the Syrian government of Bashar Al Assad and make way for a laundry list of UN-related “interventions”.

This process is already underway, as Michel Chossudovsky has reported:

“Since the middle of March 2011, Islamist armed groups covertly supported by Western and Israeli intelligence have conducted terrorist attacks on government buildings and acts of arson.

Amply documented, trained gunmen and snipers have targeted the police, the armed forces as well as unarmed civilians.

The objective of this armed insurrection is to trigger the response of the police and armed forces, including the deployment of tanks and armored vehicles with a view to eventually justifying a “humanitarian” military intervention, under NATO’s  “responsibility to protect” mandate.”

So it’s no surprise to hear the war drum now beating out of Baghdad, whose country will most certainly become a major staging ground when US-NATO military hostilities eventually begin against Syria.

A recent New York Times report has confirmed this, with Maliki’s adviser, Ali al-Moussawi stating yesterday,  “We believe that the Syrian people should have more freedom and have the right to experience democracy”. Al-Moussawi added, “We are against the one-party rule and the dictatorship that hasn’t allowed for the freedom of expression.”

A moral crusade no less. So now the puppet regime in Iraq is in lock-step with the CFR and Washington.

Bashir Assad

As an independent secular state, Syria is alone in the Middle East (PHOTO: AP)

On the other side of the coin is Iran. Recently Iran had asked Syria’s leader Assad to support Mr. Maliki for another term as prime minister, and so relations between Iraq and Syria have been healthy.  But that looks to be a thing of the past as the US-NATO timetable for the region is requiring thing to move along.

The New York Times report also mentioned a key point which should give clarity to any doubters of the US-NATO actual intentions in Syria, stating:

“Mr. Moussawi said Tuesday that the Iraqi government was concerned that if Mr. Assad’s government collapses, violence will spill over the border and further destabilize Iraq, which is still dealing with violent attacks nearly every day.”

The key word there is “destabilization”, and that is exactly what the master planners have in mind in the coming months and years. The process begins with the decapitation of Syria, followed by destabilization.

Only through a policy of destabilization and sectarian strife can the US and its allies maintain any form of long-term military presence and full-spectrum domination over the entire region, also enabling it to continue to launder hundreds of billions of US greenbacks overseas, an effort which is helping to prop up the value of America’s flagging currency.

If you have any doubts to the power and effectiveness of this policy, just ask the puppet government in Baghdad.

SYRIA PREPARING TO RESIST GLOBALIST AND NATO REGIME CHANGE PLANS

August 23, 2011

August 24, 2011

With globalist restructuring plans for the Middle East and North Africa looking to be nearly complete, one major hurdle remains. After a relatively easy path to victory in Tunisia and Egypt, and with the project to dismantle and re-privatise the Libyan state nearly complete, only Syria remains as the last serious contender for resistance against a globalist effort to dominate the greater region.

According to a report yesterday in USA TODAY, the Syrian leader, President Bashar Assad is “not worried” about the security of his country, and also warned NATO against any foreign military operations against this country. The report continues by stating:

“I am not worried about the security situation right now, we can say the security situation is better… It may seem dangerous, but in fact we are able to deal with it,” Assad concluded.

NOT ROLLING OVER: Assad's Syria will be one of the globalists most difficult regime change operations.

Led by the globalists’ top PR spokesperson Barack Obama, the West, without question has long set its sights on Syria. Western media consumers can firstly expect a trial by media of Assad, followed by more Western-backed provocateur actions within the country designed to sway international opinion in favour of the  following:

1. International sanctions
2. UN Resolution
3. No Fly Zone
4. A long, protracted NATO bombing campaign
5. “Regime change

This is the current formula(above) being employed by the US, UK and its ‘Coalition’ partners to win control of a country. After the US over-step in Iraq in 2003, the acceptable diplomatic technique is now done whereby the US/UK will work through the UN by pushing a vague resolution, and using NATO as the quasi-legal enforcement arm of a UN-backed NO FLY ZONE. Certainly, this has worked so far with Libya.

Globalist think tank The Council on Foreign Relation (CFR), officially called for “regime change in Syria” on August 18th. This should be as clear an indication as any that plans have already been drawn up to restructure the country.

The story by now, should be a familiar one. As with Libya, top analysts have concluded that the recent Syrian unrest was planned many months ago, and has since been seized upon by the western media. It is not surprising here that unrest in that country has been both financed and driven mainly by a foreign agents of influence, and not true reform seekers as is depicted in the western mainstream press.

As with the technique used in Libya, the western PR machine will then spin the story that Assad’s forces opened fire on “peaceful protesters” and therefore render him(in the eyes of western media consumers) illegitimate as the ruling government in that country. Another humanitarian intervention– it’s a formula that has apparently worked thus far in Libya, and to a lesser degree in both Egypt and Tunisia. This PR effort is then helped along by digital trending using social networks like Twitter, with the majority of regime change activity being posted in English language format.

As we have seen in the final stages of the fall of Libya, not only are western-backed rebels receiving heavy arms and NATO air support, Britain’s M16 have been on the ground directing military activities in the country, as well as known terrorists being shipped in and used by western intel agencies during the final stages of the civil war. The same can be expected in Syria should the country descend into an artificial civil war.

Western intelligence openly active in supporting and directing “rebel” forces in Libya.

Clearly, Assad is unlikely to resign from power, which creates the ideal media conflict between him and his western detractors.

Predictably, and once again, in this situation President Barack Obama‘s calls for sanctions against Syria and for its leader President Assad to “step down” from power are all part of a PR and diplomatic process designed to soften the ground for an impending NATO, or “coalition” group military intervention in Syria.

The US have already scrambled its military assets in the region of Syria, and have been conducting manuevers there for a number months already, through Operation Sea Breeze 2011 and other similar exercises.

Few would deny the strategic importance of Syria on the grand chessboard. It’s bordering neighbors include no less than Israel, Turkey, Lebanon and most importantly now, Iraq. It is a given that all of those neighbors, with a possible exception of Lebanon, will do the USA’s bidding when is comes to cooperating in an operation against Syria. But Syria is also a natural political ally of Iran, a trading partner with Russia and China, and is still aligned firmly with the region’s last remaining effective, independent militias- Hezbollah, based in Lebanon.

To break Syria, and then bring it under the globalist umbrella would be a key jewel on the globalist crown in their effort to control the entire Middle East and Central Asian region. In addition, Syria is one the region’s most economically independent sovereign states and possesses an incredible basket of natural resources. For all these reasons, Syria is a very high priority for globalist economic privatisation and dismantling of the state that is currently in place.

Israel’s stake in Syrian regime change is first and foremost- land. The remainder of the Golan Heights, as well as its formerly occupied prize in the form of South Lebanon will be firmly within Israel’s grasp if the country should eventually come under US and European globalist control.

LAND IN QUESTION: Israel has its sights set on both the Golan Heights and South Lebanon.

Unlike Saddam Hussein in Iraq, or Gaddafi in Libya, President Assad’s confidence in Syria’s ability to overcome the current western-backed coup is not misplaced optimism. Unlike other soft targets in the surrounding region, Syria maintains one of the largest, most loyal, and well-trained standing armies and air force operations in the region. They have state-of-the-art anti-aircraft defense systems in place, and a very sophisticated and well-oiled intelligence network, one which has given its near neighbor and traditional adversary, Israel’s IDF and Mossad, a difficult time penetrating over the years.

The report further states that:

“Assad warned against Libya-style military intervention, saying “any military action against Syria will bring repercussions that (the West) cannot tolerate.” There have been no serious international plans to launch such an operation, in part because the opposition has said it does not want Western countries to interfere.

Assad declared to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday that military and security operations have stopped in Syria. Despite that pledge, the government’s offensive has continued, although on a smaller scale.”

The western globalist effort to absorb Syria in its fold will be by anyone’s estimation, a long, expensive and very difficult process to install a US-Euro-Israeli compliant regime to replace Assad’s government. Time is not on their side. It is doubtful that despite their recent victories in North Africa, the US-Euro-Israeli Axis will be able to withstand the domestic political and economic pressures which face the ruling regimes at home.

If there is a country that can, and are prepared to hold out, despite globalist PR and political pressures- it is Syria. In addition, tempting the wand of fate with Syria also risks pulling Iran- or Russia, into a wider regional conflict, the results of which, war game planners in Whitehall and the Pentagon are already studying and preparing scenarios for.

For those reasons, the coming months may reveal a series of successive western moves which planners in Washington, London and Tel Aviv hope will accelerate destabilisation of the country leading to regime change. This may include pre-emptive measures, like an early assassination attempt on President Assad using  western or Israeli intelligence operatives already in play in the region.

A successful NATO operation in Syria would probably come at a high cost, but it would in effect remove the Middle East’s last remaining strong and independent states from the chess board, paving the way for a unified, geopolitical globalist grip over the greater region.

MARKET FLASH: Oil set for a big price jump

June 6, 2011

MARKET INSIGHT
June 6, 2011

Oil is again a leading asset for possible rapid price growth.

The reasons are however rather strange and sinister:  Wall Street is demanding higher prices, very especially by Goldman Sachs Group Inc which says the price should (it says “could”) reach $ 130 a barrel quite soon. When Goldman Sachs talks this way only two things can happen: first the asset it fingered as certain or likely to rise will collapse in price, wrong-footing bets on what would happen.   Or the asset really does behave like Goldman Sachs said it should (or “could”).

Add in that Goldman Sachs has an impeccable track record in “possibly fixing oil prices”, adding at least $ 30 to the oil price peak in 2008 in its strategy to bankrupt a customer.

The same could be at work in GS minds right now. The blame will be laid on the Middle East situation, starting with the collapse of the Saudi-backed Yemen regime of Saleh. GS has a little problem because the US economy is so weak it isnt rational for oil prices to rise, but dont imagine rationality and Goldman Sachs mean the same thing.

Oil prices could rise quite soon (within 1 – 2 weeks) and quite a lot ($15 + on a barrel).

The second target asset for a major jump in price is Gold. Here again GS is working hard – to push down prices at this moment, squeeze out overleverd holders of long-dated call options and futures, buy them when their price falls to nothing, and then cash in when gold prices rack up. Also here again, the Middle East and North African Arab situation will help a lot. Both Tunisia and Egypt have either nothing (Tunisia) or little (Egypt) gold left in their central bank vaults and their money is under attack as their FX reserves run out, fast.

In the Tunisian case its known that Mrs Trabelsi, wife of Ben Ali and in late Dec 2010, well before the flight and exile to good old Saudi Arabia took 1.5 tonnes of gold from the central bank, about 22% of its official reserves. The IMF and ECB of Europe will have to back the currencies of Tunisia and Egypt, and bolster their gold reserves one way or another.

The timelines for a gold price jump are not so clear, it might even be weeks, but the upward price limit is extreme high at around $ 2000 per ounce.

Good luck with your bets !

Libyan “Rebel Council” Forms Oil Company to Replace Qaddafi’s

March 30, 2011

Editor’s Note:  Please. Listen people, it’s time for a reality check. We’re going to just throw this out there for any of our confused readers who still believe- in their heart of hearts, that this attack on Libya is for humanitarian reasons. If you fall into this camp, well… you’ve been duped again. Iraq should have your wake up call, but we are aware that many people suffer from short-term memory loss. At some point, you will have to wake up and realise that powerful western financial interests are steering the economic takeover of these sovereign states, like parasites feeding off the resources of their new host. So we only ask that next time, when the sparks fly, watch as the players move in for the kill…

Bloomberg Financial reports:

Libyan rebels in Benghazi said they have created a new national oil company to replace the corporation controlled by leader Muammar Qaddafi whose assets were frozen by the United Nations Security Council.

The “Transitional National Council” released a statement announcing the decision made at a March 19 meeting to establish the “Libyan Oil Company as supervisory authority on oil production and policies in the country, based temporarily in Benghazi, and the appointment of an interim director general” of the company.

THE WESTERN PRIZE: Grabbing Liyba's resource assets at the point of production.

The Council also said it “designated the Central Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent in monetary policies in Libya and the appointment of a governor to the Central Bank of Libya, with a temporary headquarters in Benghazi.”

The Security Council adopted a resolution on March 17 that froze the foreign assets of the Libyan National Oil Corp. and the Central Bank of Libya, both described in the text as “a potential source of funding” for Qaddafi’s regime.

Libya holds Africa’s largest oil reserve. Output has fallen to fewer than 400,000 barrels a day,Shokri Ghanem, chairman of the National Oil Corp., said on March 19. The country produced 1.59 million barrels a day in January, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Exports may be halted for “many months” because of sanctions and unrest, the International Energy Agency said.

‘Extended Shutdown’

Brent crude for May settlement on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange fell 0.3 percent to $114.62 as of 8:50 a.m. It surged to a 2 1/2-year high of $119.79 on Feb 24 as geopolitical tensions spread throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

The European benchmark will average $109 a barrel this year, up from a previous forecast of $98, on expectations of an “extended shutdown” of Libyan oil supplies, Societe Generale SA said in a monthly review dated yesterday.

The statement by the Transitional National Council also said the rebels would “urgently prepare a file on the referral of Qaddafi and his gang and his associates involved in the killing of Libyans to the International Criminal Court.”

The Security Council referred allegations of human rights violations by the Qaddafi regime to the court in a resolution adopted on Feb. 26.

The statement said the council would begin choosing ambassadors to foreign countries.

The UN said yesterday that Deputy Ambassador Ibrahim Dabbashi, who broke with the regime last month and said he was then representing the rebels, was no longer Libya’s accredited ambassador. Ambassador Mohammed Shalgham, who also broke with the regime, similarly lost his accreditation when Qaddafi appointed former UN General Assembly President Abdussalam Treki as envoy to the world body.

Treki hasn’t presented his credentials yet to Secretary- General Ban Ki-moon, a prerequisite for officials taking the post.

LIBERALS WILLING TO TRADE BLOOD AND TREASURE FOR OIL AND MILITARY PROFITS

March 29, 2011

activist post
March 29, 2011

It’s perplexing to see a high level of support for the unprovoked bombing of Libya on so-called “progressive” websites. There has been an endless stream of humanitarian propaganda flowing from these sites trying to convince average liberals that the “human thing to do” is to rain down tomahawk missiles with depleted uraniumto bring freedom and democracy to an oppressed people. Huffington Post ran a piece by Ed Schultz titled Why I Support President Obama’s Decision to Invade Libya where he described his reasoning as follows:

“President Obama explained this won’t be a long-term operation… Matter of days, not a matter of weeks. Not even months… He’s (Obama) trying to give the rebels, those who want democracy, a fighting chance at just that and trying to stop Gaddafi –this is the human thing to do — from slaughtering his own people.”

By the very use of the word “invade” in the title, Schultz would seem to understand that the continued military support is likely to last for quite some time. Indeed, this was confirmed on Sunday morning when Defense Secretary Gates and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hinted that the operation could indeed last for months, which seems to debunk Schultz’s main argument that it’s only a days-long conflict. This justification is reminiscent of Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld falsely stating that the Iraq war would be quick and easy — only cost a couple of a billion dollars that would be paid for by Iraqi oil.

Establishment progressives can no longer hide behind phony labels. They have officially joined the ranks of the War Party serving up American blood and treasure to support profits for the military-industrial complex and Big Oil, while compromising on austerity cuts at home.

Wow, That Was Fast! Libyan Rebels Have Already Established New Central Bank Of Libya

March 29, 2011

The Economic Collapse
March 29, 2011

The rebels in Libya are in the middle of a life or death civil war and Moammar Gadhafi is still in power and yet somehow the Libyan rebels have had enough time to establish a new Central Bank of Libya and form a new national oil company.  Perhaps when this conflict is over those rebels can become time management consultants.

They sure do get a lot done.  What a skilled bunch of rebels – they can fight a war during the day and draw up a new central bank and a new national oil company at night without any outside help whatsoever.  If only the rest of us were so versatile!  But isn’t forming a central bank something that could be done after the civil war is over?  According to Bloomberg, the Transitional National Council has “designated the Central Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent in monetary policies in Libya and the appointment of a governor to the Central Bank of Libya, with a temporary headquarters in Benghazi.”  Apparently someone felt that it was very important to get pesky matters such as control of the banks and control of the money supply out of the way even before a new government is formed.

Of course it is probably safe to assume that the new Central Bank of Libya will be 100% owned and 100% controlled by the newly liberated people of Libya, isn’t it?

Libyan rebels

THE BANKERS' TEA AND COFFEE BOYS: Western-backed Libyan rebels managed to liase with Goldman Sachs and form a bank? Smells like a City rat.

Most people don’t realize that the previous Central Bank of Libya was 100% state owned. The following is an excerpt from Wikipedia’s article on the former Central Bank of Libya….

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) is 100% state owned and represents the monetary authority in The Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and enjoys the status of autonomous corporate body. The law establishing the CBL stipulates that the objectives of the central bank shall be to maintain monetary stability in Libya , and to promote the sustained growth of the economy in accordance with the general economic policy of the state.

Since the old Central Bank of Libya was state owned, it was essentially under the control of Moammar Gadhafi. But now that Libya is going to be “free”, the new Central Bank of Libya will be run by Libyans and solely for the benefit of Libyans, right? Of course it is probably safe to assume that will be the case with the new national oil company as well, isn’t it?

Over the past couple of years, Moammar Gadhafi had threatened to nationalize the oil industry in Libya and kick western oil companies out of the country, but now that Libya will be “free” the people of Libya will be able to work hand in hand with “big oil” and this will create a better Libya for everyone.

Right?

Of course oil had absolutely nothing to do with why the U.S. “inva—” (scratch that) “initiated a kinetic humanitarian liberty action” in Libya. When Barack Obama looked straight into the camera and told the American people that the war in Libya is in the “strategic interest” of the United States, surely he was not referring to oil. After all, war for oil was a “Bush thing”, right?  The Democrats voted for Obama to end wars like this, right?  Surely no prominent Democrats will publicly support this war in Libya, right? Surely Barack Obama will end the bombing of Libya if the international community begins to object, right? Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize.  He wouldn’t deeply upset the other major powers on the globe and bring us closer to World War III, would he?

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has loudly denounced “coalition strikes on columns of Gaddafi’s forces” and he believes that the U.S. has badly violated the terms of the UN Security Council resolution….

“We consider that intervention by the coalition in what is essentially an internal civil war is not sanctioned by the U.N. Security Council resolution.”

So to cool off rising tensions with the rest of the world, Obama is going to call off the air strikes, right? Well, considering the fact that Obama has such vast foreign policy experience we should all be able to rest easy knowing that Obama will understand exactly what to do.

Meanwhile, the rebels seem to be getting the hang of international trade already. They have even signed an oil deal with Qatar! Rebel “spokesman” Ali Tarhouni has announced that oil exports to Qatar will begin in “less than a week“. Who knew that the rag tag group of rebels in Libya were also masters of banking and international trade? We sure do live in a strange world.

Tonight, Barack Obama told the American people the following….

“Some nations may be able to turn a blind eye to atrocities in other countries. The United States of America is different.”

So now we are going to police all of the atrocities in all of the other countries around the globe? The last time I checked, the government was gunning down protesters in Syria. Is it time to start warming up the Tomahawks? Or do we reserve “humanitarian interventions” only for those nations that have a lot of oil? In fact, atrocities are currently being committed all over Africa and in about a dozen different nations in the Middle East.

Should we institute a draft so that we will have enough young men and women to police the world with? We all have to be ready to serve our country, right? The world is becoming a smaller place every day, and you never know where U.S. “strategic interests” are going to be threatened next. The rest of the world understands that we know best, right? Of course the rest of the world can surely see our good intentions in Libya, can’t they?

Tensions with Russia, China and the rest of the Arab world are certainly going to subside after they all see how selfless our “humanitarian intervention” has been in Libya, don’t you think? In all seriousness, we now live in a world where nothing is stable anymore.  Wars and revolutions are breaking out all over the globe, unprecedented natural disasters are happening with alarming frequency and the global economy is on the verge of total collapse.

By interfering in Libya, we are just making things worse.  Gadhafi is certainly a horrible dictator, but this was a fight for the Libyan people to sort out.

We promised the rest of the world that we were only going to be setting up a “no fly zone”.  By violating the terms of the UN Security Council resolution, we have shown other nations that we cannot be trusted and by our actions we have increased tensions all over the globe.

GLOBALIST TARGET: Central Bank of Libya is 100% State Owned

One seldom mentioned fact by western politicians and media pundits: the Central Bank of Libya is 100% State Owned. The world’s globalist financiers and market manipulators do not like it  and would continue to their on-going effort to dethrone Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi, bringing an end to Libya as independent nation.

Currently, the Libyan government creates its own money, the  Libyan Dinar,  through the facilities of its own central bank. Few can argue that Libya is a sovereign nation with its own great resources, able to sustain its own economic destiny. One major problem for globalist banking cartels is that in order to do business with Libya, they must go through the Libyan Central Bank and its national currency, a place where they have absolutely zero dominion or power-broking ability.  Hence, taking down the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) may not appear in the speeches of Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy but this is certainly at the top of the globalist agenda for absorbing Libya into its hive of compliant nations.

When the smoke eventually clears from all the cruise missiles and cluster bombs, you will see the Allied reformers move in to reform Libya’s monetary system, pumping it full of worthless dollars, priming it for a series of chaotic inflationary cycles.

GLOBALIST TARGET: The Central Bank of Libya offices in Tripoli.

The CBL is currently a 100% state owned entity and represents the monetary authority in The Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. The financial structure and general operation procedures of a state bank is of course much different than that of an American or European based central bank. Form starters it is not privately owned, for-profit bank with a undisclosed list of private shareholders like the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of England are. Libyan constitutional law establishing the CBL stipulates that its central bank maintains monetary stability in Libya and promotes sustained growth of its national economy. Libya also holds more bullion as a proportion of gross domestic product than any country except Lebanon, according to the London-based World Gold Council using January data from the International Monetary Fund. The value of gold is based on the March 25 close of $1,429.74 an ounce.

Will this gold remain in Libya once Allied forces have taken control of Tripoli, or will it lost, or exchanged for pallets upon pallets of paper aka US dollars?

FOLDING LIBYA INTO THE NEW WORLD ORDER

In the Libyan banking charter, one of the primary mandates will be that it is regulating the quantity, quality and cost of credit to meet the requirements of economic growth and monetary stability. This of course, is the very opposite role which privately owned central banks play elsewhere in the world. Private central banks elsewhere create inflation, periodically inflating bubbles by design and then popping them in order to transfer large sums of wealth out of lower and middle class hands and into the hands of the financial elites.

It is becoming easy to diagnose the very root-causes of chaos in the Middle East and the ongoing war-attacks against Libya. Finance, oil, militarization & imperialism, globalization- all of these comprise a running agenda for the New World Order. Egypt and Tunisia have both fallen to interim military dictatorships and have been hooked with billions in cheap loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank.

Any country or nation that is running against the grain of this agenda- going against the orthodoxies of the New World Order, will eventually be flagged and brought to heal by way of military hammer. Regular acts of war against these non-globalist nation states are designed to humiliate, degrade and compromise international human rights- a condition that has become embarrassing to the world at large.

CANADIAN PUPPET DESIGNATED AS LEADER FOR NATO’S LIBYAN OPERATION

Most observers would claim that Canada is neutral in the Libyan conflict. But on this occasion, it’s been the consensus of the world axis of greedy powers that Canada will be running the front-of-house for their intervention in Libya’s civil chaos. With respect to Honourable Canadian leaders and officials, Canada’s participation in this particular war and in the cover-up for Obama in Libya is too adroit for the sake of profits and taking over resources in that particular region of the world.

“Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay said Friday that Lt. General Charles Bouchard has been designated to lead the alliance’s military campaign in Libya. (Yahoo News, March 25, 2011).  “Bouchard is stationed in Naples, Italy, at the Allied Joint Force Command. Bouchard’s recent job was deputy commander of NORAD, reporting to an American general. MacKay adds here, “He will be commander of the NATO operations, yet to be fully defined NATO operations”.

NATO'S FALL GUY: Lt. Canadian General Charles Bouchard will be running the Libyan shop floor for the US, UK and France.

Here is another challenge for the Canadian people. Another repercussion is that the Canadian budget will also be leached by such participations as the national Bank of Canada is also based on debt finance. If Canada,  in not too distant future, would continue to participate in war(s), it would then become  a fully fledged globalist war-nation, joining the likes of the USA and the UK.

One wonders what will become a world that is at perpetually at war with itself? Why build wealth only to have it destroyed by wars? Why collect more taxes, spend and wantonly waste state revenue, create money out of nothing at the point of usury, and lend and/or borrow money at interest that disastrously piles up national debt at sky-rocketing rates? We see the results time and time again: the economy collapse, creation of poverty, and the continuing finance of weapons’ manufacturing, arms sales and the most technologically sophisticated wars in history that cause the most unimaginable devastations and irreparable damages to human lives and nations.

If the Western based foreign policies continued to be war-based, bent on controlling the world’s resources, there seems to be no worse future  for mankind.

One big reason for the Western assault on Libya: Libya owns and issues its own money.

THE CONSPIRACY THAT WASN’T: WHAT HAPPENED TO LIBYA

March 6, 2011

Are foreign interests steering this uprising?

Weeks are unfolding with almost nothing from the Conspiracy Corner that gives any solace to average persons wanting to know why the Arab world is seemingly falling apart. Ditto from the mainstream media. And it’s not only the pundits who don’t seem to have a handle on this crisis. Our leaders, deciders, powerbrokers and tormentors normally have a nice line of patter to quickly identify The Enemy and generate The Solution. But they too are floundering in a delicious way, in full view.

All parties find themselves in the exact same bag as corporate chiefs and their business hounds- who basically need oil from the Arab world, sales opportunities for their consumer goods, and low-cost labor export platforms to cheaply produce yet more products, grow their sales, and generally keep the party going. And in the face of such economic truths, who cares about Twitter fodder like human rights and democracy ?

LOG IN 4CHANGE: Tweeting mobs are percolating across North African and the Middle East.

To be sure, manful attempts are made almost daily to cobble tasty conspiracy theories that can hold for hours, or even a couple of days. Extreme free market ideologists can tell us, hand on heart, that Arab dictators appear to be falling left, right and center, and even Medieval style absolute monarchs and Petro Princes are not so sure when and how to fire on their respective protesting crowds with those state of the art weapons that our freedom-loving democracies sold them (and even gave them, in deserving cases), for a very simple reason.

How the news (aka short-term history) is written high-priced western PR firms were corrupted by, and then corrupt for and on behalf of ever lurking, market-rigging mega corporations. Some might say it’s necessary to fill up those square meters of print media surface each day and take a pot shot at Big Bad Corporations – and their media outlets including the BBC. Governments, like corporations are a global reality, and they come in all shapes and sizes. The biggest corporations of all – called governments – are unsurprisingly, hardly ever targeted by the extreme free market crowd, because they think Big Government will naturally shrivel and fall, or is so unimportant it isn’t worth talking about.

Could be right, there, my boy.

OTHER INFAMOUS PR EFFORTS: THE ECOLOGICAL DOOM BUSINESS

The mega-corporations latched on to polar bears paddling in slush and new, tasty sales opportunities for Chinese carbon fibre bicycles to strap on the back of Jack ‘n’ Jill Sixpack’s four wheel drive. These decorative lifestyle goods are now a part of the ritual drive down to the bottle bank before doing what Mr & Mrs Sixpack are only useful for: wheeling the caddy in the biggest supermarket they can find in within a range of 150 miles. The mega-corps told us this was not only cute, but a selfless action to save the planet no less, using the now fast fading Global Warming Crisis.

IPCC spokesmodels: Before it collapsed in 2009, Gore and Pachuari's campaign of doom was working rather well.

Imagining the no-brainer PR firms who ran that campaign are somehow behind Saving Mad Dog Gaddafi and the Petro Kings of Arabia (or overthrowing them – take your choice), is difficult but not impossible. Both campaigns have a fragged look about them, just a few weeks after launch. Like the Global Warming Armageddon PR effort for sexy green accessories like those carbon fibre bicycles, the present Middle Eastern PR effort flops out just like the polar bear conspiracy. Telling us that what’s happening in the Arab world is a big bad conspiracy is fine on its face – but if it is a conspiracy – it’s a terrible failure. Average consumers of media pap don’t even know who to hate any more. Meanwhile gasoline prices are rising every day, something which the Global Warming conspiracy never managed to achieve.

THE FAIRY STORY

As any promotional mechanism gathers power (so the story goes), orders are sent to think tanks which are coordinated to write White Papers, which should generate books and ultimately spawn ultra sincere, (that is) boring film scripts. Certain educators – knowingly, when they are paid enough – will advance the cause within academic journals under their control, while squeezing out and demonizing any sober alternative points of view. The media is then enlisted to propagate the promotion by interviewing “leading scientists and scholars” on the subject. Eventually, the UN takes up the cause using the Talking Head community as a template to create policy certain mandates. Like the UN’s in-house think tank, the IPCC- another failed promotional endeavour.

Still the process moves forward. Once the UN has consecrated the conspiracy, national political leaders will get to work on legislation that turns a buck for their pals who run the mega corporations. Trickle down is assumed, and the “small business community” who are in the know will then be allowed a look-in. This is particularly good if there are free monies and subsidies involved in the business.

Supposedly this is the end of the story. The world delightfully muddles along, or at least it’s delightful for anybody who gets two, three or five times the national average revenue – which in first place means they have a job at all. Try the numbers for youth unemployment in the Arab world !

Human rights and democracy was a 1990’s neolib campaign designed to undermine the Evil Empire and was rigorously circumscribed to not affect friendly dictators in an A to Z (Angola to Zimbabwe) range of resource producers and export platform countries – very surely including the Arab world. But time moved on, by gosh and by golly. History wasn’t dead, after all.

DOOM BUSTERS

The biggest problem for the real culprits – governments – is they are, time and time again, directly named and targeted as the Enemy by the tweeting Flash Mob revolution.

But what about the mega-corps ? To be sure, they have their fangs into the neck of the world’s youth but they are always let off as accessories after the fact. They shelter behind, or even dictate what governments decide to put out what reads as plausible and ‘normal’ for average citizens. Until now, in the Arab world, from the oil-pumpers to export platform producers of designer T-shirts, and assembled Mercedes Benz cars (in Egypt for example), what was possible and normal for Arab youth was not too exalting. It was possible to stay unemployed for years, even a decade, and lately what was normal was redefined as being invited to not eat, also – because food prices are so high and we forgot about developing agriculture. Why did you do that ? Because the mega-corps told us this was best. What do you intend doing about ? Option 1: shoot you if you protest too much – what Hilary Clinton calls peaceful protest must be fixed as the limit. After that, we shoot.

Rejecting that as brain poison is surprising, no ?

Even less surprising, the Flash Mob reasoned the main first culprit are those smarmy Mafia type guys, called politicians, who shake hands with their lookalikes from what are called “Western democracies”, where just the same ‘No Alternative’ – a little diluted, maybe – applies to their youth. The international conspiracy is called government.

This message is slowly filtering up to the interested and guilty parties. It has not yet percolated into the heads of really untreatable cases, for example the Obama-Merkel-Sarkozy-Campbell Gang and their Asian partners in crime, because they are force-fed on such delirious pap, pap in which they joyfully believe they are themselves part of the solution. But they are the cause. When their power shakes and trembles, the world breathes.
